Sir
Cosimo Caesare Orsini Cosimo
Caesare Orsini was the
5th son of an Italian Noble family from Florence. In Italy at the time,
the only career options for the 5th son of any house were as a soldier,
a sailor, or nepocide of all the sons ahead of him for the inheritance.
Not wanting to fight, at the tender age of 14 he decided to set
sail
and see the world. He traveled all over Europe, to parts of
Africa,
the Orient, and finally settled on the beauty of Ireland to call his
home. At 22 in Ireland, he met his long lost brother Sean where they
went into service to a Knight to "learn the ways of the world." He
learned many pub songs while hanging out in local taverns, even meeting
his lovely wife, Elizabeth du Rose of Scotland. Together they joined
the household of Kegs End and added drinking and carousing to the list
of regular activities that they would perform. In 2004, Cosimo
was
recognized for his skills at arms, music, and service and was elevated
to the status of Knight (of the Society for Creative Anachronism). Now
with a son and daughter of his own, a squire of his own, and a
wonderful family, he
intends to continue singing with the Whiskey Bards and perhaps earn a
throne someday.

Currently he is a Knight in the Society for Creative Anachronism with dreams of world domination. Nevin feels confident that the Whiskey Bards have a great product and are a great group. He hopes that you agree (and buy the albums)! |
